Helias to face Bolivar for tournament crown

BOLIVAR - It will be No. 1 vs. No. 2 for the title of the Bolivar Tournament.

Top-seeded Helias advanced to today's 5 p.m. title game by dispatching fourth-seeded West Plains 61-41 in Friday's first semifinal game.

Helias rode 27 points from Isiah Sykes to the victory, while Hale Hentges chipped in with 12.

The Crusaders held a 15-12 lead after one quarter and stretched it to 32-26 by halftime. The advantage was 45-31 after three quarters.

Helias (14-3) will meet the host school in the championship, as second-seeded Bolivar defeated third-seeded Aurora 62-43 on Friday.
