The Tri-Cap Wrestling Club hosted its 26th Annual Wrestling Tournament at Helias High School on Saturday.
More than 500 wrestlers from more than 40 teams across the state traveled to Jefferson City to compete in the double-elimination bracket tournament.
The Tri-Cap Wrestling Club finished with 16 medalists at the tournament.
Medalists included:
• 6-and-under - Ben Miller, first; Blake Bode, fifth.
• 8-and-under - Charlie Morgan and Drake Perkins, second; Hunter Barnhart, third; Gannon Schumer, fourth; Dawson Earney, Matthew Strope and Sam Schaefer, fifth; Brody Boicourt, sixth.
• 10-and-under - Jace Duemmel, first; Drew Distler, second; Nikolai Careaga, fourth; Jack Lage, sixth.
• 12-and-under - Gavin Adams, first; Nathan Schnieders, fifth.
The Tri-Cap Wrestling Club also finished with four medalists Sunday at the North Callaway Tournament.
Medalists included:
•8-and-under - Drake Perkins, second; Brody Boicourt and Gannon Schumer, third.
•10-and-under - Zach Rackers, third.
