HERMANN - The Chamois Lady Pirates dropped a 45-38 decision to St. Clair in the first round of the Hermann Tournament on Monday night.
Fourth-seeded Chamois led 10-8 after one quarter before fifth-seeded St. Clair took a 20-15 advantage into halftime and 31-24 edge after three periods.
Alison Mehmert paced the Lady Pirates with 16 points while Paige Nolte had 15.
Chamois (8-7) faces Wright City at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
