COLUMBIA - The Jefferson City Jays totaled 95 points to hold the lead after the first day of the Hickman Tournament.
Northwest: Cedar Hill and Parkway South are tied for second in the 12-team field with 89 points, Rock Bridge is fourth with 87, while Camdenton had 74 to round out the top five.
Finishing undefeated on the day for the Jays were Dennis Barnes at 106 pounds (2-0), Corbin Howard at 120 (2-0), Jacob Brune at 132 (3-0), Logan Moriarity at 145 (3-0), Tanner Irwin at 152 (3-0), Devin Miller at 160 (3-0) and Jalen Martin at 170 (3-0).
The tournament concludes today.
