Your Opinion: China's role in climate change

Dear Editor:

For one, I'm sick of reading the flurry of letters from our local global warming prophets of doom. I'm writing this letter to ask questions of these seemingly logically challenged followers of Al Gore and his ilk.

I would like to call attention to the following bits of information both published Jan. 16, 2014:

China and Japan Increase U.S. Debt to Record High Levels" (http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/A/AS_CHINA_AIR_POLLUTION?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2014-01-16-02-52-44) and "Beijing Air Pollution at Dangerously High Levels" (http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2014/01/16/China-and-Japan-Increase-Holdings-of-US-Debt%20-o-Record-High-levels).

What would you suggest to the 315 million people of the United States to do to solve this supposedly worldwide problem? A carbon tax or more regulation by our fascist leaning federal government to further drive our manufacturing plants and jobs over seas?

China has 4.3 times as many people (1.354 billion) as the U.S. Maybe you should consider spending your time writing letters to the leaders of China or the spineless United Nations instead of the frustrated and economically depressed citizens of our country!
