St. Stanislaus wins two

The St. Stanislaus sixth-grade team claimed a 41-13 win against St. Peters White, before rolling to a 36-13 victory against St. Joseph Green on Saturday.

Griffin Buschjost scored 12 points and Spencer Mertens had 11 against St. Peters White. Buschjost poured in 19 points and Colby LeCuru chipped in nine to help lead St. Stanislaus against St. Joe.

On Friday, St. Stanislaus suffered a 24-20 loss to the St. Joseph fifth-grade team in the second round of the St. Francis Xavier Taos Tournament.

LeCuru scored nine points and Mertens had four to lead St. Stanislaus (7-2), which plays for third-place in the tournament on Saturday.
