LINN, Mo. - The rally fell just short.
Linn couldn't complete a comeback in losing to New Haven 45-38.
New Haven led 12-8 after one quarter, 23-14 at halftime and 31-24 after three quarters. Linn got within three points late in the game, but New Haven hit enough free throws to secure the victory.
Sam Vogel paced Linn with 13 points while Dalton Niederhelm added 11.
Linn (7-6) travels Thursday to South Callaway.
Linn won the JV game 49-23 to improve to 5-2 on the season. Alex Strope led the Wildcats with 16 points.
Linn won the freshman game 51-21 to improve to 3-3 on the year. Cade Pinkerton led with 13 points.
