Eugene Eagles score 103 in boys basketball win

EUGENE, Mo. - The state-ranked Eugene Eagles are just about unstoppable these days.

Eugene cruised to its 13th straight victory to start the season with a 103-31 victory against Russellville on Tuesday night.

Drew Geritz led the fourth-ranked team in Class 3 with 23 points. Chase Dickerson poured in 21 points, Tyler Kempker contributed 15, Cody Shaw added 13 and Austin Russell had 10.

It was all Eugene from the start. The Eagles went up 34-3 after one quarter, extended the advantage to 58-16 at halftime and took an 85-23 edge into the final period.

Levi Anderson paced Russellville with 11 points.

Eugene (13-0) hosts School of the Osage on Friday.
