Tuscumbia girls reach triple digits

Score 104 points in win

VIENNA — The state-ranked Tuscumbia Lady Lions remained undefeated this season after posting a 104-60 win against Vienna on Thursday night.

Tuscumbia, ranked third in Class 1, had a 34-11 lead after the first quarter and took a 63-30 advantage into the break. The Lady Lions added 28 points in the third quarter to take a 91-47 lead into the final period.

Kendra Vaughan and Tempary Gunter both scored 25 points to lead Tuscumbia (12-0). Summer Rush and Alexis Ash both added 12 points, while Tristen Patterson chipped in 10 to help pace the Lady Lions.

Ashley Schwartze scored 22 points and Ashley Logan added 17 to help pace Vienna.

Tuscumbia returns to action Saturday at Eldon.
