MOKANE, Mo. - The North Callaway Lady Thunderbirds claimed a 53-40 win against Russellville in the South Callaway Tournament on Thursday night.
North Callaway jumped out to a 17-8 lead after the first quarter and took a 31-13 advantage at halftime. The Lady Thunderbirds led 46-22 after three quarters, before being outscored 18-7 in the final period.
Haley Windsor and A.J. Grellner both scored 11 points to lead Russellville.
The Indians (4-8) will take on New Haven in the third-place game at 2 p.m. Saturday.
