ASHLAND, Mo. - The Fatima Comets outscored the Southern Boone Eagles 20-10 in the fourth quarter to rally for a 58-56 victory Thursday night.
Southern Boone led 22-14 after one quarter, 35-27 at halftime and 46-38 after three quarters before Fatima started its comeback.
The Comets, who improved to 8-2 on the season, got two big free throws from Alex Dickneite late in the game to seal the win.
Jared Schulte paced Fatima with 18 points, while Zach Buscher had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Austin Schubert chipped in with 12 points for the winners.
Fatima returns to action Tuesday in the California Tournament, where it is the top seed.
