LIBERTY, Mo. (AP) - A suburban Kansas City woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the road at an intersection in Liberty.
The Kansas City Star (http://bit.ly/1a8fN6h) reports 60-year-old Madeline Garman of Blue Springs was attempting to cross the street around 8:55 p.m. Friday when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
Police say she was taken by ambulance to Liberty Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
