MEXICO, Mo. - California cruised to a 68-33 victory against Steelville in the Gary Filbert Shootout on Saturday afternoon.
California opened up an 18-5 advantage after one quarter and didn't look back. The Pintos extended the lead to 39-15 at halftime and took a 52-23 edge into the final period.
Jaden Barr paced three Pintos in double figures with 17 points. Dylan Albertson added 16 points and Damon Shaw had 12.
California (5-3) travels Tuesday to Iberia.
