OWENSVILLE, Mo. - The Helias Lady Crusaders wrapped up the regular season Thursday night with a 46-39 loss to the Owensville Dutchgirls.
Owensville led 9-8 after one quarter before Helias came back to take a 25-20 advantage into halftime. But the Dutchgirls outscored the Lady Crusaders 26-14 in the final two quarters.
Luci Francka led Helias with seven points. Kelsi Bernskoetter and Mai Nienhueser added six points each.
Helias (14-11) is the No. 1 seed in next week's Class 4 District 8 Tournament at Kirksville. Helias will take on either Marshall or Fulton in the semifinals at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
In Thursday junior varsity game, Ashley Rehagen's 17 points led Helias in a 53-30 win against Owensville.
The Lady Crusaders end at 17-2.
