Girls Basketball: Tuscumbia 56, Chamois 47

CHAMOIS, Mo. - Tuscumbia outscored Chamois 22-13 in the final quarter and pulled away for a 56-47 on Tuesday night.

Tuscumbia was up 12-11 after one quarter and the Lady Lions pushed the lead to 24-21 at halftime. But the Lady Pirates came back to tie it at 34 heading into the fourth quarter.

TaKayla Gunter scored 23 points to lead the winners, while Tempary Gunter had 11.

Paige Nolte hit seven 3-pointers on her way to dropping in a game-high 30 points for Chamois.

Both teams will return to action Thursday as Tuscumbia (20-4) will play at Calvary Lutheran, while Chamois (12-10) will host Eugene.
