Blair Oaks High School celebrates Winterfest

Blair Oaks High School recently celebrated Winterfest Fantasy with a week of special days, an assembly, the coronation of a king and queen, and a dance.

The Winterfest queen was Monica Katnik, daughter of Paul and Mary Katnik, and the king was Collin Luebbering, son of Todd Luebbering and Sidney Wilde.

The princesses and princes in the court were: Alyson Jones, daughter of Jim and Kelli Jones; Blake Burks, daughter of John and Denice Burks; Logan Gratz, son of Craig and Mary Gratz; and Hayden Haney, son of Dan Haney and Theresa Johnson.

The junior candidates were: Shelbi Koelling, daughter of Stuart and Laurie Koelling; Peyton Wilde, son of Roy and Sandra Wilde; Mackenzie VanderFeltz, daughter of Gary VanderFeltz and Dinah Verslues; James Reinkemeyer, son of Alan and Lynne Reinkemeyer; Lauren Viessman, daughter of Rodney and Cheryl Viessman; and Kory Franks, son of David and Angie Franks.

The sophomore candidates were: Christina Kempker, daughter of Wayne and Judy Kempker; Adam Schell, son of Sam and Brenda Schell; Kallie Kerperin, daughter of Paul and Shauna Kerperin; Heath Branch, son of Elaine Branch; Abigail Shanley, daughter of Tony and Jill Shanley; and Cecil Closser, son of Tim and Kim Closser.

The freshman candidates were: Rachel Isenberg, daughter of Jerry and Beth Isenberg; Jake VanRonzelen, son of Timothy and Sandy VanRonzelen; Abbie Kemna, daughter of Greg and Kristi Kemna; Bo Thomas, son of Dale and Pam Thomas; Macyn Wilbers, daughter of Darrel and Vicki Wilbers; and Kade Franks, son of David and Angie Franks.
