Fourth person charged in McDonald's robbery

A Jefferson City woman has become the fourth person charged in connection with a robbery at the McDonald's restaurant on Jefferson Street in November 2013.

On Friday, Patricia Hayes, 707 Maple St., was charged with one count of first-degree robbery.

Earlier, Fineola Ingram, 24, 122 Ventura Ave., the McDonald's manager on duty, was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery for acting in concert with those who actually committed the robbery.

Another McDonald's employee, Stephon Phillips, 25, 1413 Elizabeth St., also was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery in this case.

Joseph Cotton III, 26, St. Louis, was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm for the robbery.

Hayes is believed to have driven Cotton to McDonald's for the robbery.

Cotton told Phillips he had a female to take them to the restaurant, but Phillips didn't know her.

He said he was taking trash outside of McDonald's while speaking to Cotton via phone to arrange the robbery.

Cotton eventually arrived at the restaurant with a female driving the car he was riding in.

Phillips identified Hayes from a photo lineup as the driver.

When questioned by authorities, Hayes denied any involvement with the robbery or knowing anything about the robbery until days after it occurred.
