LINN, Mo. - The Linn Wildcats limited Chamois to three second-quarter points before posting a 50-28 win on Friday night.
Linn led 10-6 after the first quarter, but outscored Chamois 14-3 in the second period to take a 24-9 halftime lead. The Wildcats extended their lead to 38-17 after three quarters before outscoring the Pirates 18-11 in the final stanza.
Sam Vogel scored 13 points to lead Linn (12-10), which hosts Tuscumbia on Tuesday.
Clay Nolte had a game-high 14 points to lead Chamois.
