This week the Cole County Grand Jury indicted a Jefferson City man charged with possession of child pornography.
Gary Buettner, 59, of 606 E. State St., is believed to have images of four young females, ranging in age from 10-17.
By handing down the indictment, the grand jury thought there was enough evidence to send the case onto the circuit court level for possible trial.
A Missouri Highway Patrol probable cause statement shows authorities served a search warrant on Buettner's residence in November 2013.
Numerous computers, hard drives and digital media were located, and Buettner told investigators that he used file-sharing software to download pornography.
He was able to describe some of the videos depicting children being sexually assaulted by adults.
