Boys Basketball: Calvary 62, Malta Bend 29

MALTA BEND, Mo. — The Calvary Lutheran Lions limited Malta Bend to two first-quarter points before rolling to a 62-29 win on Friday night.

Calvary led 18-2 after the first quarter, 37-16 at halftime, and took a 54-24 advantage into the final period.

Trevor Dusheke poured in a game-high 24 points, while Beau Monson added eight points and 10 assists to lead the Lions.

Calvary will host the Missouri School for the Deaf at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
