Calvary 57, Wellsville 49

Trevor Dusheke and Beau Monson combined for 46 points as the Calvary Lutheran Lions notched a 57-49 victory against Wellsville on Monday night.

Dusheke pumped in a game-high 27 points, while Monson dropped in 19.

The Lions, who improved to 7-9, jumped out to an 18-9 lead after one period. However, the Tigers came back to tie it at 30 at halftime and took a 40-36 lead into the third quarter. But Calvary, thanks in part to hitting 11-of-13 from the free-throw line down the stretch, outscored Wellsville 21-9 in the fourth to win it.

Calvary returns to action today at the Fulton School at St. Albans.
