CALIFORNIA - The California Lady Pintos jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 61-35 win against Versailles in a Tri-County Conference matchup on Monday night.
California led 16-5 after the first quarter, 30-13 at halftime, and took a 42-27 advantage into the final period.
Morgan Henley scored a game-high 12 points to lead the Lady Pintos (14-7, 4-1), who host Mexico tonight.
Duanna Frerking finished with seven points to pace Versailles (3-16, 0-3), which hosts School of the Osage on Thursday.
