SEDALIA, Mo. - The Tipton Cardinals jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 53-34 win against Stover in the first round of the Kaysinger Conference Tournament at State Fair Community College on Saturday.
Tipton led 17-6 after the first quarter, 37-15 at halftime, and took a 47-23 advantage into the final period.
Dylan Cooper scored a game-high 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead Tipton.
