PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Chiney Ogwumike had 36 points and 17 rebounds, and No. 3 Stanford beat Washington State 77-69 on Friday night to improve to 56-0 against the Cougars.

Taylor Greenfield and Amber Orrange scored 11 points each for the Cardinal. Stanford (22-1, 11-0 Pac-12) has won 21 straight games since losing to No. 1 Connecticut.

Lia Galderia had 21 points, and Tia Presley added 20 for Washington State (12-11, 6-5). The Cougars have lost five of their past six games after a 5-0 start to conference play.


No. 23 CALIFORNIA 70, WASHINGTON 65

SEATTLE (AP) - Reshanda Gray had 20 points and 12 rebounds to help California beat Washington.

Gray's jumper extended the Golden Bears' lead to 68-65 with 1:01 to go. With 5 seconds left, Brittany Boyd stripped Kelsey Plum before Plum could attempt a tying 3-pointer. Boyd made two free throws to seal it.

After trailing 54-46, Cal (15-7, 7-4 Pac-12) pulled even at 56 and took the lead for good at 65-64 on Gennifer Brandon's jumper with 2:29 left.

Boyd had 12 points and nine assists. Mikayla Lyles added 12 points on four 3-pointers for Cal.

Jazmine Davis led Washington (12-10, 5-6) with 20 points, and Talia Walton had 19. Plum added 16 points and nine assists.
