According to police reports, Terrian Davis, 21, Jefferson City, was the driver of the vehicle that led officers on a chase early Tuesday morning.

Officers pursued Davis on the city's east end, beginning near Hutton Lane and traveling to U.S 50 East at the city limits.

The pursuit, which began as a routine traffic stop, ended when Davis struck a deer in the roadway, causing his vehicle to lose control and crash off the road.

Davis fled the area, leaving two passengers in his vehicle who sustained minor to moderate injuries, resulting in their being taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Davis is asked to contact the police department at 634-6400 or call CrimeStoppers at 659-TIPS.

Davis is wanted on charges of careless and imprudent driving, driving while revoked, leaving the scene of an accident, resisting arrest and second-degree assault, due to the injury to the passengers.
