Lausanne Collegiate rallies for Great 8 Classic win

The Lausanne Collegiate Lynx used some torrid shooting in the fourth quarter to rally for a 58-48 win against Roger Bacon in a loser's bracket semifinal Sunday at the Great 8 Classic.

The Lynx hit 10-of-11 shots from the field in the final period to outscore the Spartans 22-8.

It was part of an impressive closing effort for Lausanne. After making just 4-of-12 shots in the opening quarter, the Lynx connected on 23-of-32 (72 percent) the rest of the way.

Out of their 27 field goals, the Lynx got 26 of them in the lane. Lausanne scored 22 baskets on layups, one on a dunk, three more on short jumpers in the paint and one 3-pointer.
