Late 3-pointer dooms Crusaders

In loss at Branson

BRANSON, Mo. - Helias fell Friday night after Branson's Colby Sutton drilled a 3-pointer with 4.4 seconds left, sending the Pirates to a 47-44 victory.

Isiah Sykes scored 16 points for the Crusaders.

Branson led 10-8 after one quarter, but Helias rallied to lead 24-20 at the half. Branson led 36-31 after three quarters.

The Crusaders (4-2) host C.B.C. at 6:30 p.m. today.

In the JV game, Helias won 51-45. Landon Harrison scored 16 points for the Crusaders.

The Helias JV (2-1) also plays C.B.C. today.
