SEDALIA, Mo. - Zane Humphreys put up 21 points, but Tuscumbia fell short against New Franklin, 56-52, at the W-K Shootout on Thursday.
Orrie Patterson had 11 points and nine rebounds for Tuscumbia, and Nick Grimwood had 10 points.
The Lions were tied with New Franklin at 9 after one quarter, trailed 24-22 at the half and were behind 42-35 entering the final quarter.
Tanner White led New Franklin with 21 points, and Ronnie Perkins scored 11.
Tuscumbia (6-3) plays Monday against Climax Springs.
