A Jefferson City woman was treated for injuries after crashing into three parked vehicles on East Capitol Avenue on Tuesday.

Police reports show Roberta Luebbering, 65, was going west in the 400 block of East Capitol just before 12:30 p.m.

She lost control of her vehicle possibly due to medical reasons, ran off the south side of the street and hit two vehicles.

One of the vehicles was pushed backwards and hit another vehicle.

Luebbering's vehicle and one of the parked vehicles caught fire.

Luebbering, who was wearing a seat belt, was able to get out of the vehicle and was later taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The street was shut down for about an hour while fire crews and tow trucks cleaned up the scene.
