Water line connection work will close Lafayette Street from East Elm to Miller Street and East Miller Street from Cherry Street to Marshall Street beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday.
The closings are to allow waterline connections for Missouri American Water.
The streets will remain closed until 9 a.m. Friday.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route and allow extra time to reach their destination.
