RUSSELLVILLE - The Tuscumbia Lady Lions jumped out to an early lead and cruised to a 79-43 win against the Russellville Lady Indians on Monday.
Tuscumbia led 27-11 after the first quarter, 49-18 at halftime and had a 66-34 cushion entering the final period.
McKendra Fischer led Russellville with eight points, while Libby Mueller and Adrianna Basnett both chipped in with seven.
The Lady Indians (1-5) will return to action at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 2 at Eldon.
