Boys Basketball: Linn 63, Jefferson City JV 47

LINN - Blake Snyder scored a game-high 15 points and the Linn Wildcats used a strong fourth quarter to earn a 63-47 win against the Jefferson City Jays' JV team Monday in the first round of the Linn Tournament.

Linn led 15-9 after the first quarter, 29-24 at halftime and 45-41 after three, before outscoring Jefferson City 18-4 in the final period.

Tony Mebruer finished with 14 points, while Daulton Niederhelm added 13 and Ben Klebba chipped in with eight points and 10 rebounds to lead the Wildcats.

Grant Wood finished with 12 points and Kamari Balton added 11 to lead the Jays.

Linn (2-3) will continue tournament play at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday against Fatima, while Jefferson City (1-3) will take on Fatima at 7:30 p.m. today.
