Two Belle men were injured in a one-vehicle accident at 6 p.m. Thursday on Route D, south of County Road 701 in Osage County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Ford Explorer, driven southbound by Richard L. Carbaugh, 47, traveled off the left side of the road, over-corrected and went off the right side of the road, overturning and coming to rest in a field. The vehicle then caught fire and burned.
Carbaugh and a passenger, Shawn M. Stubblefield, 34, were taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.
Neither was wearing a seat belt.
