SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays dropped a 63-59 decision to Crane in the opening round of the Stephanie Phillips Classic at Kickapoo High School.
Nicole Martin finished with 24 points for the Lady Jays, while Megan Foster added 13. Alexis Roberson chipped in with 12.
Crane is the defending Class 2 state champion.
Jefferson City (3-3) is back in action at 4 p.m. today against Rogers, Ark.
