Boys Basketball: Eugene Tournament results

EUGENE, Mo. -- In Eugene Tournament action on Saturday, Eugene captured the title with an 80-37 victory against the Camdenton junior varsity.

In the third-place game, the Blair Oaks Falcons defeated the School of the Osage Indians 68-60.

Versailles 70, St. Elizabeth 56

The second quarter proved pivotal Saturday afternoon. The Versailles Tigers outscored the St. Elizabeth Hornets 21-8 in the period on their way to a 70-56 victory in the fifth-place game of the Eugene Tournament.

Michael Allen totaled a game-high 30 points for the Tigers, while Trey Woods added 21.

Braydon Holtmeyer finished with 22 points for the Hornets. Wyatt Stiles and Mason Monteer added 17 each.

St. Elizabeth (1-3) will play Tuesday at Newburg.
