Blair Oaks takes second at Knob Noster tourney

KNOB NOSTER, Mo. - Frankie Falotico claimed individual honors while Blair Oaks took second as a team Saturday in the Knob Noster Tournament.

Falotico was the champion at 132 pounds in the tournament as Blair Oaks finished with 10 medalists and totaled 130 team points. Versailles was first in the 11-team event with 230 points, while Warsaw was third with 97.

Alex Gaydos of the Falcons finished second at 145. London Gaydos at 126 and Paul Karsten at 152 both finished third. Taking fourth were Joey Conway at 120, Riley Boeckman at 160, Chance Cumpton at 195, Logan Moore at 220 and Daniel Mudd at 285.

Blair Oaks is back in action Thursday when it hosts Versailles, Hallsville and Missouri Military Academy in a quadrangular.
