TUSCUMBIA - Dax Helsel scored 15 points Friday night to lead the South Callaway Bulldogs to a 68-37 win against the Tuscumbia Lions.
Luke Horstman pulled down 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs, who led 14-6 after one quarter and 34-20 at the half. Terry Miles had four steals for the winners.
Orie Patterson finished with 13 points for Tuscumbia, while Zane Humphreys added 11.
South Callaway (2-0) will host Montgomery County on Tuesday.
In Friday's JV game, South Callaway (2-0) defeated Tuscumbia 47-40. Grayson Peneston had 11 points for the Bulldogs.
