TIPTON - The Chamois Pirates used a big second quarter to key a 49-28 win against Bunceton in the seventh-place game of the Tipton Tournament on Friday.
Chamois was clinging to a 10-7 lead after one quarter before it outscored Bunceton 19-2 in the second to take a 29-10 edge into the break.
The Pirates' lead was 37-20 after three periods.
Aaron Brandt pumped in 18 points to pace Chamois (1-3), which will host Wellsville on Tuesday.
