Dear Editor:
I am writing this letter to say thank you to all of the police officers out there, black or white, Hispanic or whatever, who go out every day and do their duty to enforce our laws and protect the innocent.
You don't get much thanks, but where would we be without you? The law might not be perfect but is a heck of a lot better than the alternative.
So once again I would like to say thank you for your service.
