Missouri's Clark suspended indefinitely

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Sophomore point guard Wes Clark has been suspended indefinitely from the Missouri basketball team for a violation of team rules, coach Kim Anderson said Tuesday. Clark did not play in Missouri's 65-61 defeat of Southeast Missouri State on Tuesday.

Anderson said Clark was not feeling well and might not have played Tuesday regardless.

"In conjunction with his situation, I suspended him indefinitely from the team for a violation of our guidelines, and we'll reevaluate his situation over the next couple of days, both from a health issue and the other issue," Anderson said. "I'm not going to take any more questions on that."

Clark, the Tigers' starting point guard, is averaging 9.2 points and 3.7 assists per game this season. He is the second Tiger to miss a game this season for off-court reasons, as Jakeenan Gant has yet to play in a game due to an eligibility-related issue.
