TIPTON - The Jamestown Lady Eagles used a strong fourth quarter to hold off the Chamois Lady Pirates 36-33 on Monday in the first round of the Tipton Tournament.
Chamois led 17-4 at halftime and 27-26 after the third quarter, but Jamestown outscored the Lady Pirates 10-6 in the final period to earn the win.
Paige Nolte scored a game-high 19 points to lead Chamois (1-2), which plays Bunceton on Wednesday in the second round of the tournament.
