Holiday festivities continue at Scene One Theatre

Scene One Theatre again this year joins in the holiday festivities in the downtown Jefferson City area as they present "Season's Greetings."

The show was written by David Sedaris, adapted for stage by Joe Mantello and is performed as Reader's Theatre.

Megan Sappington will appear for the third time as the witty and clever Jocelyn Dunbar, full of Christmas spirit and cheer. She is writing the annual letter to family and friends and reveals the antics and events of her children's lives. This is at times surprising and darkly humorous.

The play is a fundraiser for Scene One. Admission is by donation, but the public should reserve seats at 573-635-6713.

An opening act each performance features Mark Wegman and local bodybuilder Scott Holiday in a simple Santa sketch.

The evening is for mature audiences.
