One person was injured in a stabbing incident in downtown Jefferson City early Sunday.
Police were called around 1:30 a.m. to the city parking lot off the 200 block of Monroe Street to investigate. Initial reports indicate the victim was stabbed in the cheek and forehead.
Ambulance and fire department personnel also were called to the scene. The incident is under investigation.
