ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are investigating after a man was fatally shot while changing a flat tire near his home.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1pu0nlp) reports that 41-year-old Darnell Martin was wounded Friday night and pronounced dead at a hospital.
Two other men were with Martin, and they told police a car drove by and someone opened fire as they were changing the tire.
The men described the shooter's vehicle as a dark-colored Lincoln LS.
