Helias soccer loses 4-0 to Ladue

QUINCY, Ill. - The Helias Crusaders dropped a 4-0 decision Friday to Ladue in their opening game in the Quincy Tournament.

"We were just tired from (Thursday) night," Helias coach Chuck Register said, noting the Crusaders' 2-0 loss at Camdenton. "We had no legs, but the boys played hard."

Ladue led 2-0 after the opening half, which had a 20-minute weather delay.

Helias (1-2) is back in tournament action today against Quincy at 9 a.m. and Champaign (Ill.) Central at 1:30 p.m.
