Eugene tops Tuscumbia 4-3 in baseball

TUSCUMBIA, Mo. - The Eugene Eagles scored three times in the first inning Friday on their way to a 4-3 victory against the Tuscumbia Lions.

Brent Adrian, Nolan Wunderlich and Travis Rush each had an RBI in the inning for the Eagles. Eugene's other run ame in the fourth on a double steal.

Tuscumbia scored all three of its runs in the sixth. Sam Huth and Orrie Patterson had RBI for the Lions.

Adam Schenewerk had two doubles for the Eagles, while Wunderlich also had two hits.

Wunderlich was the winning pitcher, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out six. Nate Simmon took the loss.
