Two suspects have been taken into custody after a threat made to an individual and posted to social media was reported to Eldon High School administration this morning.
The threat was reported at approximately 7:50 a.m., according to Eldon R-1 Superintendent Matt Davis.
"The high school administration followed our established procedures. Local law enforcement was called; we secured the building and controlled access in and out of the building," Davis said. "We want to thank our local law enforcement for their quick response and our students for being diligent in reporting possible threats."
The two suspects never entered the building and were taken into custody at approximately 8 a.m., Davis said.
