Six hurt in Jeff City crash

Six people were treated for minor injuries after a two-vehicle accident Monday night in Jefferson City.

Police reports show Madeline Moats, 16, Jefferson City, was going north on Jefferson Street, crossing over Southwest Boulevard, at 7:47 p.m.

As she went through the intersection, a vehicle driven by Dorothy Yarboro, 81, Linn, was going south on Jefferson and attempted to turn left onto Southwest.

She went into the path of Moats and that resulted in a head-on collision.

There were four juvenile passengers in Moats' vehicle, ranging in age from 15 to 16.

All those involved were wearing seat belts.
