COLUMBIA - The Fatima Lady Comets opened the season with a 25-9, 25-8 win against Hickman on Monday night.
Tara Buthod had three kills, while Paige Groner and Haley Luebbering both recorded three aces. Emily Keilholz tallied seven assists and Shaina Boehn added two blocks to lead the attack for Fatima.
The Lady Comets (1-0) will play at 6 p.m. today at Chamois.
