Dear Editor:
Milton Garber's Aug. 17 letter describes his version of history that no reasonable person could say is an objective viewpoint. His version is tainted from the start by the statement "The Israelis are at it again-attacking their victims." This statement is one of the most outrageously absurd perspectives of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict I believe I've ever heard.
It's amazing Garber somehow didn't even mention the terrorist organization Hamas that has taken over the Fatah Palestinian government. I call Garber's attention to the Fox News piece "Fatah says activists in Gaza shot, put under house arrest by rival Hamas." Does Hamas sound like the victims Garber would have you believe? How about this? "Israel Faced A Huge Wave Of Cyber Attacks During Its War With Hamas - And Iran Could Be The Reason Why" (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/israel-faced-huge-wave-cyber-223036909.html). Does Mr. Garber understand that Iran and Hamas has publicly vowed to kill all Jews and eliminate Israel from the map? Does Mr. Garber realize the size of Israel is slightly smaller than New Jersey and surrounded by enemies?
To me an analogy to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict would be a Caucasian legally owning and occupying property in a subdivision surrounded by native Americans. Just because native Americans may believe that historically or for whatever reason they should own the property, does that give them the right to shoot at the owners house and vow to kill them and get the property back? Would Garber think it's okay? Or how about the Mexicans in Texas? Of course that analogy is actually happening and strongly supported by the Democrat liberals that in my mind is for the same reason we are reluctant to support Israel; refusal to protect the borders of the United States and it's allies.
Garber's letter is just another example of why the world is a mess; liberal's denial of terrorism and their revision of history to fit their agenda that seems to be to reduce the USA and it's allies to third world status. Why?
